this is a PHP 7.0 problem, i switched to PHP 5.6 for my host account and the menus import just fine. So nice to have yet another compatibility problem. It would be nice if someone fixed this because there is no point to having a feature in WordPress if doesnt work in the newest version of PHP.

yes i would like to know how to load content into the main page as a default to show all posts then have it disappear if someone selects from the menu?

Is there a way to create an ACF post for the ‘all posts’ option and have this load as the default when the pg loads?

right now i cant figure this out it wont load unless u select form the menu i tried adding “selected” didnt work
