Thanks for getting back to me Daniel. I’ve deactivated all plugins, with the exception of WP First Letter Avatar but the error message still appears. If it’s any help the full error is as follows

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, first array member is not a valid class name or object in /wp-includes/plugin.php on line 213

Appreciate all your help Ajay. At the moment I’m using Random Posts with Thumbnails and I’ve also installed Flexible Posts Widget.

Thanks for the reply Ajay. I changed both lines 959 and 979 but search results still effect the random posts widget. I’ve also installed a different random posts plugin but the results are the same. Random posts match search results.

Thanks for replying and helping me out. I followed your suggestion and added “. date(‘jS F’);” to the end of the return string. I removed the other “;” on the line and it worked for me. The custom subject line is now showing the current date as well, which is exactly what I was looking for.

return "My Custom Subject Heading" . date('jS F');
