I have a similar situation. I have a field with a selection dropdown. But for mine the question is where did you hear about us and there are various answers (web, email…). However, when the form is submitted, the “LeadSource” which is mapped to Salesforce does not show up. It’s blank.
What could be the issue? The Salesforce field mapping is wrong or like you mentioned selection dropdowns don’t work with text values?
