In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spurious “Invalid mailbox syntax is used” Error MessageOh, I see. The problem was that I hadn’t designated the [select] tag on the Form tab as a required field. I didn’t do that because, in practice, the drop-down could never be empty. But apparently the Mail tab validator didn’t realize that. When I added an * to the [select] tag on the Form tab the problem went away.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I have another page with just a single uploader and I don’t get those extra messages on that page.
I noticed that there was a new version of the uploader available in my Plugins dashboard today so I upgraded (Version 1.8.2). However, I still get those same error messages as reported yesterday. Any plans to get that fixed?
I tried the download and it works although I’m seeing some error messages on the page with the uploader:
test.gifis not a valid file.test.gifis not a valid file.
test.gifis not a valid file.
These messages are printed at the top of the page, above the uploaders. (I have four instances of the uploader on the page, to upload to four different galleries.)
I also get the messages “No file chosen” together with the message “Your image has been successfully uploaded.” See screenshot.

I’m getting the error on a Linux system.
