Sorry if I wasn’t clear… the issue isn’t putting an email address in the “message.” if I do that it does format to a link.
The issue is that the link is that blue-ink we see so often which isn’t very elegant at all. It would be so much better if there were a way to make the image I’ve put in there link, or create a message where a word could be linked, and highlighted with color…etc.
