The site is pretty big (around 4GB) but it used to take a couple of hours max to backup.
I’ll keep on investigating and I’ll ask my hosting provider (I changed hosting recently but the issue started to occur shortly before that actually)

I read this page before posting and doing/done the things I can do on it. Didn’t make a big difference.
The entire backup ended up taking more than 12 hours.

Usually just entering the URL of the site works in order to catch the feed (helpful in situations when it’s not https://site.com/feed/ ) and it used to work with your plugin.

I found a solution.
Just entering the URL of the site in the shortcode used to be enough. Not anymore.
I tried with entering the exact feed’s URL instead of simply the homepage’s URL, and it’s working.

Same issue here.
The new linking system is not practical at all and creates more work just like Iain said. One extra step, plus no “new tab” by default possible…

Updated to 3.0.3 and the snippet is still not saving.

OK, I reinstalled it, and everything seems to be working fine (and my settings are not gone).

I still don’t understand what happened.

@alexander : Yes, I updated my other sites, and they work fine.
The site I have issues with just became a white screen.
I still can access the dashboard.
First I thought it came from a plugin, so I disabled them all, then when I checked if the website worked with disabled plugins, it worked, but it had reverted to the default theme.
I clicked on “themes” and Hueman was deactivated. When I tried to reactivate it, there was an error message saying that theme wasn’t installed or something like that.

I’m gonna try reinstalling it now and see what happens.

On a side note, would it be possible to have a changelog here one day, when I update, I never know what changes are happening. I know there is one on your website, but it doesn’t match the version of the theme that’s here on wordpress.

However, looking for infos about that, there is a fix with a line of code to put in the htaccess file, I did put it for one of those spam referrers, and analytics has started showing 0 visits from that referer and that referer only.
How come if they’re not hitting my site at all?

I’m a bit confused by the version number. On the site it says 2.1.8, but mu up-to-date version is 1.4.4.
How come?
