Hi BE (Arian?),
Yes, I understand that. Perhaps, out of the box, have a full Monday to Sunday listing. Then in addition to that, allow the removal of days (much like the Phone and Email listings).
Cheers,
Dave
Tremendous! Thanks Norik!
Hi Arian,
Unless I’m much mistaken, the link you provided (https://bigemployee.com/projects/big-contact-wordpress-plugin/2/#custom-layout) doesn’t have any information about custom layouts? I see information about custom subjects, but not custom layout.
Please pardon my daftness if I’ve missed it?
Cheers,
Dave

In reply to: [BigContact Contact Page] [Plugin: BigContact] Optional fieldsHi Norik,
Thank you for this information! I find it interesting that conversion rates are lower with required phone fields. I will bear this in mind.

David
Hi Arian,
Many thanks for the careful explanation.
Yes, I suspect that .com Google Maps may return different results to .co.za
I am unable to give an actual street location, since my business is located within the shopping centre – which is located at the crossing of the two roads (there is no street address strangely).
As an aside: yes, I do always have to refresh the Form Options page to see changes take effect (as per this post). This is, albeit, separate from the Google Maps issue. Whenever I refresh, it loses the crossroads address. But there is a way around it.
Thanks again!
David
Just an incidental pointer as well:
On the widgets page, the description under BigContact is: Display your cantact information

Thank you. The error message has gone.

In reply to: [BigContact Contact Page] [Plugin: BigContact] Form options do not saveI get exactly the same problem as mentioned above… I press enter upon editing a form option, but the update does not appear automatically until I’ve clicked “Form Options” again.
Thanks for a great plugin! Huge potential!

In reply to: [Plugin: Podpress] very slow publish post page loadI’m also currently experiencing this problem exactly as Opally describes.
I changed the “Max Number of Media Files” down to 1 and am able to wait a few minutes for the page to load. Then the podpress section appears. But thereafter, I am not able to edit/add any media.

In reply to: Contact Forms 7 email being delivered from [email protected]Hi Bernard,
Thanks again for the reply. I have just been informed by another Bluehost user that:
“I think it’s to do with the way that the mail server looks up and resolves it’s own domain name (i.e. – the domain of your website) – it doesn’t do this if you put an address on a different server as the sender’s address (hotmail for example).”
So I tested it out with an email address not part of my domain–and it worked successfully, showing the email address.
Thanks again.

In reply to: Contact Forms 7 email being delivered from [email protected]Many thanks for that suggestion Bernard.
I tried you suggestion without success.
Could it be a problem with the bluehost configuration?

Also, should I have a separate robots.txt file for the /blog directory?
Many thanks!
