  • Pretty clever… nice work!

Another idea… try using a honeypot in the Elementor form *instead* of ReCaptcha.

This allows me to have some spam control on the form and also doesn’t break the Elementor Editor… it loads fine on all pages and posts I’ve tried so far. I have the form with honeypot in my footer and blog sidebar areas (as widgets), so they load with all pages and posts.

OK, I think I understand what you’re doing. Makes sense.

My problem was that with the plugin enabled, *none* of my pages would load with the Elementor editor. Even pages with no forms or ReCaptcha stuff.

Then I later found that by changing the layout from ‘default layout’ to Elementor Canvas, the editor would load just fine. But I haven’t tried this with a page using ReCaptcha. May not work, per what you are seeing.

    Good luck with your site.

I am not sure why the Elementor Editor works for me when I change my page to use the Elementor Canvas (with this plugin enabled). I thought it might be a theme conflict or something.

But maybe the problem goes away entirely if ReCaptcha is disabled completely in the base Elementor settings? I may try that and see.

I was interested in this thread because I saw a similar error message in the console about ReCaptcha code. Really hope the plugin devs jump in with some comments soon.

Hey @koswebsite… can you confirm if this problem exists when trying to load the Elementor content editor on other (non-form) pages? I think it might be a problem with other pages too.

And try changing your page template to Elementor Canvas (under Post Attributes) and see what happens then.

Just trying to help you troubleshoot the problem here based on my own recent experience with this plugin. Let me know what you find, thanks.

Agreed… this is a good feature request. I would use it also.
