Ya, I also use custom capability but each of my product levels need to automate to a specific mailchimp mailing list and the levels/api setup was the only way I could do that automatically. Good thought though.
Well, I had tried that first.
The [s2If current_user_is(s2member_level3)] code, only shows content for exactly level 3.
The [s2Drip access=”level3″ from_day=”0″] code shows level 3 or higher.
I have a 4 level that should not view this content.
No this is not a new site launch but a new product launch. I’m not doing this as a new thing, just trying a new aspect of the s2members plugin. I’ve been using it now for 2 years live on this site. ??
I’m running the genesis framework with the minimum pro child theme. Also, every other shortcode works perfect, just this use of the nesting/s2drip shortcode.
My site is live and I’m right in the middle of a launch with more than 100 current members active at random times. ?? Makes it really hard to just disable plugins and theme.
If my theme was an issue I’d dump s2member before I’d dump the genesis framework.
Seems strange though that this is the only shortcode and issue I’m having with s2member pro? Thats why Im wondering if I just have the code wrong in some other way?
I’ve tried both and neither seem to be working. Thanks for the thought though. any other ideas?
I’ve got this same issue but I’m also using the paypal pro add-on with woocommerce. Unless I allow woocommerce to do the ssl I can only checkout in sandbox mode with the add-on. When I enable this it creates and redirectly loop with s2member on my secure checkouts for my membership portion. Any other thoughts?

In reply to: [Frontend Checklist] Great Plugin, any chance a progress meter could be addedI used tabs I believe. I was also using the no cookie code. Do I need to do something different?

In reply to: [Frontend Checklist] Great Plugin, any chance a progress meter could be addedHey Jonas, thanks for the reply. Yes I did try this and it displayed a progress bar but would not update it when I clicked on the completed task in that same list. The same progress bar would display and update just fine if I used both short codes on the same page?
I’m using this behind a protected portion of my side using the s2member plugin. I don’t know if that matters or not?

In reply to: [Frontend Checklist] Great Plugin, any chance a progress meter could be addedIs there any way to make the progress bar from a list appear by it self an another page not containing the task list itself? Great plug-in by the way. Simple, but works. I like that ;).
This might help, I needed to upgrade to s2member pro in order to get the paypal pro forms. This even though I already had a paypal pro account through paypal. Just a thought is all. Seems to take forever to get a response from support in here ;).
works great now, thanks!

In reply to: [WordPress Popup - Optin Revolution] Money grubbersI see the delay of 15 seconds as a very useful compromise. Gives me something to work with but doesn’t let the entire cat out of the bag for your pro version so to speak.
I also don’t disagree with you on price, I just need to make certain I can get the value back if I’m going to spend the money at this point for pro. That’s why I’d like to be able to do real world test with the lite version. Any increase in optins at all would spark my attention to go pro and continue to increase them with further customization options.. A popup that is immediately up with no delay is far too spammy for my audience and would do more harm for me testing than good.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and respond. Good luck with your plug-in, again..I do think it has great potential.

In reply to: [WordPress Popup - Optin Revolution] Money grubbersMy point being that the delay being removed simply makes the lite version unusable for me. It does not allow for a real world test to see if it’s even worth upgrading to the pro version, something I would have gladly done in time if I could have had the opportunity to test and see real world results. Adding features or not is all together different to me than taking away something that was seen as a base feature to start with (the delay).
I get the idea of selling and internet marketing, just feels more like a forcing of the hand to buy (unless you have a better reason for removing the delay from the lite version?). Also, I’m not saying your providing something for Free that’s not worth it. I’m also not angry for not getting what I didn’t pay for, though its hard to tell in a text based message. I’m saying if you provided something for Free that was worth more, than it compels me to pay for it. Add value and you’ll get value in return.
Your plug-in has great potential and I hope you sell tons of them. In the end, my review is just my opinion anyways. I’m not trying to be a hater, just trying to give some honest feedback.
