I have the same error – with 2.7 with the last but one SEO
– Ive also had problems uploading in NEXTGEN and even picture uploads being unable to use flash uploader sometimes.
NEXTGEN – something about unencrypted data transfer – this might be related – I suppose
I include the other stuff – as it may give insight into an underlying problem.
Ive reinstalled 2.7 three times and all plugins – new – straight from the authors sites.
Im reduced to ftp uploads now – putting them in the relevant locations.
