Sorry to hear that but glad it worked out in the end. For future reference I believe they have an export setting for the plugin as well.

Hopefully the site you were working on was not filled with too many pages.

    uh oh…

I use Headway Theme on my site.

What I ended up doing was resetting the WordPress SEO settings and than I reset my blog page – truthfully I’m not sure what caused the issue to resolve but those were the two things I did.

    Hope that helps…

    Hi.

I reset the setting and also made some tweaks with my theme that seem to have resolved this. Looks like at least on this score I am good for now.

    Thanks!

Having the same issue which only recently started up on my site. Maybe a WP version issue or perhaps it has to do with Facebook.

In response to an earlier suggestion above and some gentle prodding from my wife I’ve implemented a new nav bar. Hopefully this will encourage a little more traveling within the site – any feedback on the nav bar would be great.

ebiladdress – thanks for the thorough reply – greatly appreciated! the category pages are pretty low rent, and hopefully high yield in terms of the information – I’m hoping to continue to roll in some more widgets for each category but you are right in terms of the aesthetics.

    Thanks!

    Thanks and Thanks!
I’ve been exploring the notion of blocks – I will be trying to implement a little more differentiation between the sections in the next few days – that is a great suggestion – one challenge I’ve had (among many) is for whatever reason I like these really loud strong colors – so hopefully as I build out the “blocks” my color scheme won’t dominate – I’m not ready to walk away from the color scheme yet as a buddy of mine is in the finishing stages of a really cool logo that will play with all the colors in a fun way, but I hear what you are saying.

Thanks for the feedback! At one point I played around with adding some light colors…. I have a friend working on some icons for the nav bar which should be ready soon – hopefully that will make the nav bar a little more pronounced but I do have each section broken out into its own page as well – clearly that impetus to click through to those distinct pages is not coming through from the way the site currently is.

Lastly – good luck with your launch!

Ugh! Thanks for the honest feedback though. The idea is not dis-similar to retail – if it’s not on the shelf it doesn’t exist (Wal-Mart Vs. The Armani Store) and I get that web design today goes in the opposite direction, but if it’s coming across as a mess that is certainly some thought for pause. I’ll continue to look at the design with that lens.

I’m using WordPress as the CMS for the site so that I can post all the content to various areas both on the index page and on the category pages. For what it’s worth I’m still amazed that I was able to implement WordPress and it’s actually working – 18 months ago I didn’t even know HTML! An interesting little rabbit hole I’ve begun to go down….

    Thanks again,

    David

looking good and having just done the bootstrapping build a site process myselft i have to say congratulations!
I think you could dial down some of the darker blacks a bit as they are bleeding a little too much into your reds – paricularly at the top of the site.
Also in the “Welcome to Voodoo Empire” section some of the vertical left red is bleeding into your text as you scroll down so you’ll either want to move your text a little more to the right or adjust the color scheme.

I’ve had the same issue (really only an issue with older posts) and the time stamp (which oddly can be opened using quick edit), but the issue only seems to exists when I’m using IE – in Firefox everything seems to work fine – I’ll try to the single window fix on IE later but I didn’t want to lose this thread, and that is not really very functional.

Also, thanks to the WordPress community! Still hammering out my theme but I’ll have a WordPress link(s) up soon.

    David
