This is a strange question. I think the question implies, is it possible to add this сustom capabilities to your plugin. I do not understand why it may not be possible if for example it is possible to have the NextGEN Gallery overview capabilities.

As I see, extend style is default style for nextgen gallery.
If you use [album=1] only, it shows extend style albums.Is there any way to change default style to compact?!
If yes, I will be able to use [album=1] shortcode and it will be a solution for me, I hope.
Same problem is if I use [album=1 template=extend]
Just noticed that it happens only if I use [album=1 template=compact] shortcode.
If I use [album=1] everything is ok.
But I need compact mode.
