In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Recaptcha V3 Broke my siteI don’t know why you linked me to a page saying how to use recaptcha v3
I have ALREADY set it up and it works on some of my sites… but it does NOT work on others and that link is totally useless in fixing the problem sites.Yes I have v3 keys from google. I had to revert to v2 keys to use the plugin for v2
I also have a plugin protecting the registration and login with recaptchav3 and it works fine on all my sites. It is only CF7 not working with v3
WTF!!!! This SUCKS. Only one of my sites affected!!! WTF?? When will this be fixed? I went through about 10 versions of the v2 captcha with images…. this is just a JOKE

In reply to: [GTmetrix for WordPress] Abandoned PluginYeah thanks for that. I got a notification from WordFence that is had been removed. A pity they removed it.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] wordfence just highlighted thisI agree. Updraft knows this happens and should just bump the version! It would save a whole lot of anguish that could be easily avoided.
I agree Wordfence has it right. Just change the version!
“Hide WordPress Version”
This is already off by default.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Email Notification not being sentI did ask hostgator to do this and they refused point blank. Also asked them to escalate – they said they did escalate but I have heard nothing back.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Email Notification not being sentIt’s ridiculous I should have to install a plugin to be able to send an email just because I changed the backup location. This is a joke!

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Email Notification not being sentActually HostGator say this:
Okay, the problem is that our outbound spam filter is catching these mails and flagging them as spam. UpdraftPlus is not authenticating the mails through SMTP so they are going out as unauthenticated PHP mails. That, plus the fact that the content has changed, has probably caused it to roll over our allowed detection value for “possibly spam-like content” and be caught. If you install “Easy WP SMTP” on your domain, and set up updraftplus to send out emails as an actual email user on your domain so the emails will be SMTP authenticated, it will likely go through.
If you would like to utilize an email service that is not subject to our outbound spam filtering, you could use Constant Contact, or Gmail for instance, which are not utilizing our mail servers and would not be subject to the regulations as such. Alternatively you could ask the Updraft support team if they can change the content of their messages to possibly remove any hyperlinks or domain names as those typically also trigger common spam filters.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Email Notification not being sentok – I see an interesting notation in the log I posted:
0223.706 (0) Sending email (‘Files and database (Full backup)’) report (attachments: 0, size: 0 KB) to: admin…
0223.855 (0) The backup apparently succeeded and is now completeIt says SIZE: 0kb – is this why it’s not being sent?
Will do. On a holiday for a couple of weeks. Will get back in it then.
Thanks guys. All good now.
It was the only plugin at the time – just divi builder and wordfence. Yes I am in contact with Divi.
Thanks.
was that supposed to be a helpful response?
It’s bizare that on my other sites, if In click to do a manual scan, it never skips that test – in fact the only time i see it skipped is on one specific site. (and I always see it skipped there) Weird.
