I am very disappointed! It been 3 days and still no response.
I managed to resolve the issue myself after many failed tries and I will document showing how I did it.
I realized that if I deactivated all plugins, the admin dashboard will function properly but all the plugins will be gone including Total Upkeep.
The Steps I Took To Resolve The Problem
- Go to the File Manager in the cPanel
- Now, go to wp-content in your website folder
- Rename the folder Plugins to Plugins.hold to deactivated all plugins
- Then create a new folder (by clicking “+ Folder” usually positioned at the top-left) and name it plugins
- Double-click plugins.hold and look for your backup-plugin folder, in my case, it was boldgrid-backup. Click on the folder and copy it to the newly created folder, plugins
- Now go your wordpress admin dashboard and everything will be working fine except the fact that there is no plugin installed.
- Now go to the plugin section from the side menu.
- The only plugin that will be there is your deactivated backup-plugin in my case was Total Upkeep. Activate it.
- Then go to the backup archives, where you will find your last saved backups.
- Click the one you prefer and restore your site
- And Whala, everything is back, including your plugins
- Now go back to the wp-content folder in your File Manager, click on plugins.hold and move it to trash.
Thank You so mush. It totally worked.
