The setup for the work I’m doing is using “posts” to act as web pages containing course information. That content gets edited over time as courses become available, closed, links and instructors change, etc.
Normally, I manually make these HTML edits by pressing “Update Post” in the Publish section, making sure Visibility is set to “Public”, and the course info edits go into effect immediately. I also can see past “Post Revisions” and revert to those, but those need to be done manually as well.
Surely, there must be a way to set new revisions to go into effect on New Year’s Eve across multiple posts. Is there anything in the WP settings I need to change to make this happen?
