I think I may have the problem solved.

My menu is working again and even when I view on my iPhone, (which was an issue for me).

I am using a plugin called, myStickymenu. I have to adjust mine to line up properly, however it seems to be working thus far.

While viewing on my iPhone, it breaks.
I have tried everything I can think of but no success.

I installed the plugin called: WPFront Scroll Top.
Which is a least something. It is basically an fast page up device to get to the menu. https://wpfront.com/wordpress-plugins/scroll-top-plugin/

But I would of course rather have, twenty fourteen working as it should with the sticky menu on mobile viewing.

Hello All,

My child theme folder I have called: Twenty Fourteen-Child and it sits in the Themes folder.

I have taken a screen shot at: https://dgmontgomery.com/wp-content/themes/twentyfourteen-child/images/ftp.jpg

You can see, that for some odd reason it is not pulling in the Twenty Fourteen style.css.

Hi Friends,

I found the culprit. It is the ‘All In One WP Security’ When I Deactivated this plugin, I am able to use the Customize in Appearance.
What was happening before was the large window to the right (with the visual of my site) would continually appear, then disappear, on/off. It made it impossible to do anything.

The plugin does suggest workarounds for this, but because I am leery of what sort of Malware or other I might let in the door. If anyone know this plugin I would be grate full hearing from you.

Hello Friends,

There was eveidence of two malicious scripts (maybe) malware who knows that found there way into the WordPress index page and .htacess.

That said, I do not know where they came from. I think it is likely they came through a plugin when I downloaded the TwentyFourteen.

Once I had the server cleaned, I downloaded and started with a new database also.

I will call them and inquire.
