I have found that flushing the permalink structure is required and I have done that according to:

Didn’t work. The correct URL for the custom taxonomy permalink IS the pretty permalink. But the_terms is still displaying a different, non-pretty permalink.

Any ideas?

I have re-built the index, yes.

Are you suggesting that I look directly into the SQL. How can I do that? I am a complete newbie in this stuff…

Same here. I added my custom taxonomy name in the custom taxonomies to index field, but I get no search results.

I add that I both put my main user in /etc/vsftpd/user_list and commented root in /etc/vsftpd/ftpusers. No difference.
