Sorry, this was a mistake. The template wasn’t related to the problem at all. Changing the insert mode to legacy solved it.

Ok, it seems there is a contradiction here. The plugin FAQ says:

Redirections are automatically created when a post URL changes

But the plugin’s premium features include:

Adds an auto redirect when detecting a change in any post permalink.

So it seems that it is a premium feature that is wrongly advertised as being in the free plugin. This should be changed.

Regarding my original question, that this used to work some time ago, it seems that I mistaked the plugin. Sorry about that.

Sorry, this bug was wrongly reported. Although the error seemed to be inside the Meks widget, it actually wasn’t, and the offending plugin is another one. I apologize.

Thanks for answering. After some testing, I have found that the problem isn’t solved. I have tried it in a vanilla installation with no other plugins, themes or anything except WordPress itself, but it’s not working yet.

The wmpl-config file is not in the theme, but I took a look at the functions in the page you link and I think that pll_current_language() could do what I want to do: detect the current language inside the PHP template and, using an if statement, run different code depending on the language. I will try that.

I want to join in. The same thing happens with Polylang: the homepage contents are not available for translation.

Is there any multilingual plugin that can work with this theme? Thanks!

I want to unregister a sidebar/widget area. Not a widget. And of course I’m doing it in a child theme. Since WordPress provides a function to do exactly that, I would prefer to use that function and not touching parent templates. The problem is that I lack the necessary value (id) to use the unregister_sidebar function.

What should we do after switching to beta? I’ve seen no option related to responsivenen. I opened an already existing automatic newsletter, then sent myself a test, and it’s still non-responsive.

I thought it was implied that I was doing exactly that.

After some time, I found out that Postie eventually works and posts stuff… but not when running the script manually, and the debug option has given me no debug that I could find. The manual run is expected to create posts, isn’t it?
