Very weird.. The problem went away when I removed a plug-in called Popularity Contest 1.4 .. This plugin seemed to slow down all PHP related pages. Maybe I set it up wrong but I decided the safest bet was to remove the plug in altogether.. Ever since I removed it, my site responds quickly and super cache is working.
I don’t know what you mean by “delete the go to settints->permalinks”. I don’t see any reference to permalinks in my .htaccess file.
Here is errors i have in my log..

WordPressI just had the same problem.. I installed the plugin and at first it looked like it was working. Within 1 or 2 hours though my wordpress site grinded a virtual halt and everything started timing out.. Every once in a while I was able to get on to wp-admin.. I decided to remove the wp super cache.. I removed it and still nothing works on my site..I can’t even get to wp-admin. I tried everything suggested in this thread and it still doesn’t work. I followed all suggestions I could find in readme file.. My error log says my pages do not exist.. I’m running thru Godaddy on a linux hosted environment for wordpress 6.x
At this point, I’m going to have to pay godaddy $150+ to restore my system to yesterday.. I suggest plug in author investigate this as it is a very serious issue..

In reply to: Comments within a PageNever mind.. You have to have the template saved properly in your theme folder with the header comment as described. Thanks.

In reply to: Comments within a PageI don’t see any way to choose a template when managing my pages. Where do you see this? What version of WordPress are you on?
