In reply to: [Orbital Feed Reader] Not ready for prime timeI’m afraid I can’t help you now, as I’ve abandoned WordPress and gone to Blogger instead. Very much as with my experience as an audiophile 40+ years ago, when I ended up spending more time tinkering with the equipment than actually listening to music, I was spending more time tinkering with WordPress than actually writing. In fact, I actually spend most of my time on Google+.
Good luck.
I updated the plug-in, but still zilch. When I have time, I’ll yank all my plugins and try again; then, if that works, I’ll start adding them back one by one.
I did try uninstalling the two plugins that I know also add features to the TinyMCE editor (WP Symposium, and WP-Views by OnTheGo Systems), but neither made any difference. (Although I might have to uninstall the entire OTGS Toolset Framework to really test this possibility, and that’s too much trouble right now, esp. since I’m still in the throes of rooting my phone!)
It’s really a great idea, so I look forward to being able to solve it eventually at this end.

In reply to: [Customizr] Remove comment count from RSS Feed, not postThat’s great! Mark this resolved then; I’ll play with the above code until the upgrade; in any case, studying it will advance my still-primitive coding skills.
Sorry; away at jury duty. The problem has been resolved. Part user error, part sloppiness in the uninstall, I guess: it was the site title that was wrong.
No. There’s a Toolset Bootstrap theme from OnTheGo Systems that they supply with their tools. I removed all of its files in the theme directory, but it won’t go entirely away; that is, the new theme loads and seems to work, but the Theme Name in the upper left-hand corner of the Dashboard still shows Toolset Bootstrap, and the WP Customizer shows the Toolset theme options instead of Customizr.
I tried resetting the database, but that didn’t work either. I’ve reached out to OnTheGo, too, but they have not yet gotten back to me.
Thanks for answering so quickly.
Thanks for the follow-up, but our HTML expert was so traumatized by the experience that she’s unwilling to try it again. It’s a commercial site (an online bookstore), so until we set up a sandbox (if ever), we’ll have to pass.
This capability would be a huge help with an online bookstore I’m helping build, as well, to deal with all the possible genres a book can belong to.

In reply to: Firefox wants to download admin.php when using MT upload scriptNever mind. I figured out that this, too, is a memory problem. With smaller files it works. Need to upgrade the server, obviously!
