In reply to: [Sidebar Login] rememberme checkbox gone! Thanks, 2.7.1 works again!
I understand the shift to iThemes Security from Better WP Security introduced a massive number of serious bugs, and it has taken you many releases to work through them and get the plugin at least basically working, but is there a timeline to fix cut-n-paste for .htaccess ?
In the interim are there any known issues in Better WP Security 3.6.5/3.6.6 ? I think a lot of people have stayed with this for now.
I just upgraded two sites, based on different themes and using mostly different plugins, to 3.6.5. I did have an issue updating on one site but wp-login.php seems to work OK on both sites running 3.6.5.

In reply to: [Sidebar Login] Got "undefined" on 2.5.2 but 2.5.0 was OKI just tried 2.5.3. Same problem as 2.5.2.
I first saw the “undefined” pink box on Sidebar Login 2.5.2 on a WordPress 3.5.1 production site. My staging copy of the site, also 3.5.1 with almost the same plugins, does not show the issues.
Neither of these sites run any sort of caching, so this is not the same issue; but probably something broken trying to fix the caching issues.
The staging site that is OK is on PHP Version 5.3.3-7+squeeze15.
The production site is on PHP Version 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.23. I went back to Sidebar Login 2.5.0 and the error went away.

In reply to: [Sidebar Login] AJAX login errors@okoth1 I first saw the “undefined” pink box on Sidebar Login 2.5.2 on a production site. The only two plugins in common with your list are Akismet and Widget Logic. My staging copy of the site, with almost the same plugins including these two, does not show the issues.

I hope this helps.
I have experienced what may be the same issue. The Changed File log on 7 Apr for one of my sites shows 1890 files Modified. This is probably most of the files on the site, and most in the log have a modification date of 30 Jan when WordPress was installed. I copied one of the “Modified” files from the site and did a diff with a version from an old backup and there was no difference. Unless I have missed something I suspect there may be a bug with hash checking under certain circumstances.
Other than the occasional minor issue, I agree with you, Better WP Security works well and seems to be the best WordPress security plugin I have found.
