    ESMI,
    I checked and the database info is correct. I even went so far as changing my database user and password and checking off all priviledges and the results are the same as in my previous post.

    Thanks, I got it rersolved with hosting company. They reset the p[assword and everything worked ok. Davethorn

    I checked in cpanel and there is a folder “my wordpress” When I open it all it has is the basic wordpress set up with no content. I checked and there is a database which was set up at time of installation. I don’t understand enough to find out what is on it. I can access the dashboard for this WP site and all the posts, pages, etc. are there but can’t be viewed on internet. When I try to view site from dashboard I get error message as above. There is no way that I could rebuild this from scratch as there are several thousand posts and if I can’t get this resolved it will be a years work down the drain. David
