Whatever I was bitchin’ about, it’s all good now. It’s doing exactly what I want. Thanks for the nice plug.

I got this to stop by not giving groups access to the ‘posts page’ or it’s parent. Instead I make their posts private by default and when admin (me) post, I do public and I make the check for the intended group. Works OK. Nobody can see there is anybody else.

This also stopped everyone with access applied to ‘posts page’ from seeing all posts. When I went to ‘posts page’ and gave any group access, then all groups got access (for new posts?). Above approach fixed that too. Now only group can see their own posts and no other group can see them.

Only problem I see coming is if I have many users then I will have many groups and many check boxes. But this will mean I have many clients and I will have lots of money. Oh well.

I got it to work the way I want by not assigning roles.

Don’t worry about me. I found another plugin to handle my immediate needs. Thanks for your swift reply, BTW.

It is not my imagination. Then why is configuration here after I deactivate, delete, reinstall and activate? It would be all gone.

It is of no consequence to me, I’m using another.

I expect the user to not be a able to get to the dashboard. This is why I check the boxes to make it so they can’t get to the dashboard, yet there they go. If the plug in can’t stop them from going to the dashboard then why have the option in the plugin?

I’ve been getting the white page sometimes too. Also the redirect did work for a few tries, but quit and sends user to their Dashboard. Somehow a 2nd instance of the widget showed up on the sidebar before it stopped working right.

I deleted the 2nd instance and the remaining one stopped working correctly, so I deactivated it and deleted the plugin completely. I re-installed the plugin from disk and activated it and found it back in place all configured!

Something is not right. I cannot use this.
