Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Squackle.comWell, the logo was something i intend on making better. I’ve just been experimenting with the blog as a whole, so it was kind of temporary when i made it, but I do need to make that better.
I don’t really have that many people participating, the blog has been up for about 5 months, now (started it when it was v2.3). I do get the occasional comment, but they are few and far between, and that only happens from unregistered people.
I don’t get a ton of page views, i get around 130 a day according to the WordPress.com Stats, but even so, its greatly increased my overall traffic and hits from Google, I suppose because i divided out all my content into singular pages where it was all clumped together before.
I anticipate that my hits will grow as time goes on, especially since I update frequently and there are actual RSS feeds available for people to use.
I use the following plug-ins, if anyone is curious:
Feeds Widget
In Series
pb-embedFlash
Random Redirect
Reveal IDs for WP-Admin 2.5
Simple Tags
WP-Download Manager
WP-Polls
WP-PostRatings
WP-UserOnlineForum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: New 2.5 editor is a disasterhorizontal rules always act weird with wordpress and tinymce.
makes “<hr>” code into “<hr />” code automatically, for one…dunno if its different at all, but then usually it’ll take away a space from right below and add a space later on in the post.
