Thanks… I created the child theme, undid the changes I made on the parent theme’s CSS, and redid them on the child theme’s CSS. I have been able to make all the changes I wanted to so far, including column spacing.

The site is not live, so I don’t think it can be viewed. And I did also put a post on the theme support page.
