As of version 11.0.7 this issue should be resolved.
We’re aware of this issue and are actively working on a fix, which should release very soon.
We also know this about the vulnerability:- A user needs to have contributor-level or higher access to your website in order to even attempt to do something related to the issue.
- This means that it would only affect your website if you (or someone with a login + contributor access to your website) creates a post and intentionally enters a bad podcast media url in the episode box. Even then, risk of exposure is low due to pre-existing checks. However, we will put out a patch in the next release of PowerPress to tighten the checks further.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Block editor?Hi Randy,
We do have a PowerPress block in the works, but I don’t have a release window at this time.
The only downside I can see is that episode-level images have to be specific dimensions to be accepted in podcast apps. Not all themes use the same size for featured images.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Terrible, Buggy PluginPowerPress automatically reserves the /podcast slug so we always recommend using a different slug for your podcast landing page, like /episodes or /show. We have more details in our documentation here: https://blubrry.com/support/powerpress-documentation/disabling-powerpress/

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] self hosting with podopHi Antonio,
Yes, PowerPress is hosting agnostic, so as long as you have the file URL to add to your post, that will work just fine.
Hi Antonio,
I see that you asked this question within our Facebook Group. Let me know if you have any other questions or issues.
Hi @raylucchesi,
It looks like this was resolved, most likely due to the hotfix we released (v10.0.4). Let me know if you have any other questions or issues.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Change Author in Post TypeYep, that was it. Simply overlooked it! Thanks, Michael!
@jpeder55 and @michellerayburn, have you submitted tickets directly to Blubrry Support? This is most likely directly related to your account, so we’d need to know your information to look things up.
Be sure under PowerPress > Settings > Feeds > Feed Settings that the “Show Most Recent” field is set to 300. That will update the feed to show more episodes. If you’re using Custom Podcast Channels, Category Podcasting, or Post Type Podcasting, be sure to access the appropriate feed settings.

Hi @yorgict,
What is your podcast RSS feed? I can take a look and let you know what I find.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] email address missingHey @jakoblink,
No problem! Go to PowerPress Settings > Feeds > Apple Settings and you’ll find the field for your email address. I recommend clearing your website’s cache after making this change and before submitting to Spotify again.
Let me know if you have any other questions or issues.
