Oh that’s brilliant. Thanks! I’ll give that a shot soon.

In reply to: Older Posts link works if I'm logged in, but not for everyone elseYes, I’ve done that as well as switching my permalinks to one of the standard options in testing. It’s what led me to suspect this isn’t a theme issue. I’m using a standard feature of the WordPress core to display my posts on a specific blank page, as you can set under Settings > Reading. I’ve edited my original post to make that clearer in case it’s a factor.

In reply to: Older Posts link works if I'm logged in, but not for everyone elsePretty sure this isn’t a theme issue, it seems like a permalink issue, no?
For what it’s worth: I’ve been talking to Tumblr support as well and they’re up for being contacted if they can help at all: [email protected].
So it looks like the operation finally worked. Though, if you’re taking feedback on how the importer performs, post media and formats weren’t preserved very well. Example:
No media was downloaded and imported or apparently even linked (though, depending on when you read this, I might have fixed that. I plan to do it all manually one of these nights soon because I need to complete this move sooner than later). All images appear to be broken. Link posts are also formatted very strangely. I’m using a theme from WooThemes that supports post formats, but check out this link post:

The headline is not actually linked to the external site, but the first line of the post is “Link: [headline of the post]” and _that_’s linked.
Thanks for following up on this by the way.

In reply to: Where’s the “Blog” Page?I’m having a little bit of trouble with this myself. WordPress is installed in the root of my directory. In the Settings > General pane, both my WordPress and Blog URLs are set to the domain (no /blog), and under Settings > Reading I have the Front Page set to be my latest posts.
I do not have a Blog page created, but I can’t seem to create one that actually lists my posts using this tip to do so. I’m using a specialized theme from ElegantThemes (Lumin to be exact: https://www.elegantthemes.com/gallery/lumin/). But when I create a Blog page, then assign it for my posts under Settings > Reading, it displays nothing. I’ve cleared my browser cache and even WP Cache, but it’s still just a blank page.
Is there another step to the process?
Bump?
