In reply to: [Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types] Custom Type′s not showig@pepetoro – Did you try disabling other plugins? I would presume that this uses javascript to show the forms dropdown, so there may be a clash.
I had no problem – this is a great plugin ??

In reply to: [Infinite-Scroll] Another CSS selector issue…If you’re interested, I worked this out.
For some strange reason (which I’m pretty sure is unique to the site I was working on) – the javascript file wasn’t loading, and neither was the jQuery that called the script.
So I just disbaled the plugin and loaded the javascript manually in the footer of the site, and wrote the jquery in by hand too.
I was only able to do this because of the great instructions on your site, and looking through your source.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Infinite-Scroll] Another CSS selector issue…Hey Sam, thanks for getting back to me.
I am using the plugin – I’ve been looking through a load of examples of this, so I must have got that code from one of those sites. I removed it, and a load of javascript that might have been conflicting, but it’s still not working…
I will make the posts fill the screen in the future, but it would be good to get this working. Any more ideas on why it doesn’t work on this site?
Thanks again,

In reply to: Installation Internal 500 Error – Help!No – that isn’t correct. Did you read the link I sent you? It doesn’t matter where your wordpress files are installed – you can make a very small edit so that your site looks like it’s running in the root directory. I used this method for years for my company’s website before we had a separate test server, and I have since worked on lots of sites that use this method.
It means that you can run many installations on wordpress on the same server, all with their own directories – the end use (ie me and you) are non the wiser.
This is the joys of working with php ??

In reply to: Installation Internal 500 Error – Help! It’s actually fine to be running WordPress in a separate directory. Many people do. But that’s probably not what you wanna be hearing right now!
Looking at your website, it’s not a 500 error, it’s a permissions error.
Have you tried deleting everything to do with the wordpress installation from your server and running completely fresh install. Fresh wp-config file and fresh database install. Otherwise, your database and php files are looking for information in the wrong place.
Alternatively, you could move everything back to your original directory, and seeing if you can get it work on there.
Without knowing specifics, that’s the best I can do for now…

In the WordPress Dashboard, try going to Settings > Reading and change what the front page is displaying.
Hope this helps ??

In reply to: Changing layout.cssHi Kelly,
I wouldn’t think you’d need to delete anything. Just find the files that you need to alter permissions for, and then follow the instructions I wrote out above.
