In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Duplicate sitemap filesPerfect thaks ??
Hi again @cybr
I always appreciate your replies! Full of information and thoughts. Well actually I had not thought about search engines searching for the sitemap.xml page. I had presumed search engines do not actively search for this page as such, and if it did not exist (if I did not output a sitemap) there would be no 404 page to land at. But maybe I’m wrong on that as not sure how the default WP sitemap kicks in?
You’re possibly right to not implement a toggle for sitemaps. I mean as you said no one has asked before and I think majority of people are very happy having this feature available. I have decided to keep the sitemap, as well.. why not? You’ve perfected the load sequence ?? and a 3 page website sitemap should hardly affect page load times.
Cheers!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Stock report issueI forgot to say thanks for your nice friendly reply! However, do please pass my comments back to the WooCommerce team to reinstate this important stock functionality they have kicked out.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Stock report issueHello @xue28
Yes but that’s the whole point. You say there is a “new and better Analytics section available” but this is just not the case where stock reporting is concerned. You have removed the functionality stock reports had previously which is very frustrating. How is this at all better? This is a big step backwards.
We do not want to add more plugins to a system which is already bloated with plugins. Just please give us back our previous stock reporting ability!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Stock report issuePS – ideally we would also need to be able to filter this information by year.
Hi there. The site is not live yet, but here is a screenshot from the popup menu on mobile with the blue box around the first menu page link: https://ibb.co/VTvb6S0
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Many thanks for your reply. I did the same thing. I did a manual installation of WordPress via FTP (having downloaded the latest version from their site) and I encountered this problem where the visual text editor does not work.
I then did a new WP install and automated it via my hosting, and everything works 100% correctly. So yes you’re right. Something is breaking during the manual install. Very strange.
Hi there @lianakap @michaelwieden
I have exaclty the same problem. I am using a fresh WP install and the Hello theme. How on earth did you fix this? I have disabled all plugins and it is not that. I very much doubt it has something to do with our server as we run a number of wordpress ecommerce sites and no issue. Also we have plenty of server resources. Can anyone assist?
Many thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Stripe JS killing SEOHi there. Actually I did get a reply back from a WC Happyness Engineer and they did tell me to go ahead and add that snippet to the website which blocks the Stripe Script on product pages. It does help quite a bit with page load, but I will monitor to see that it does not cause any issues with users using the Stripe payment services. It does not disable all Stripe JS, but it does speed up page load times by over 1 second (mobile devices).

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Stripe JS killing SEOOK well I tried to contact you there but you then arrive in a chat session with a Happyness Engineer who knows nothing about the plugin. I am hoping they pass on my question to you!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Stripe JS killing SEOHi Igor. OK but I dont want to paste all our site details on a public forum which can be copied by anyone. Is there any way to hide the link to the paste bin?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Stripe JS killing SEOThanks for the reply. Can you please send me an email address to where I can send our site URL, as I do not want it visible in the public domain.
Stripe scripts are what is causing the longest blocking time out of any other scripts (along with jquery.min.js). The screenshot I sent you shows the scripts which are taking the longest to load, and the Stripe script is at the very top of the list. And that when we do not even have any payment buttons on those pages.
I did add that filter, which you just said I should perhaps not, and that immediately does help our page speed. Anyhow, if you can send me your email address, I can provide our website address. Thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Stripe JS killing SEOI added the following script which I saw in another post from a few days ago:
add_filter( 'wc_stripe_load_scripts_on_product_page_when_prbs_disabled', '__return_false' );
Is that the right action to take? Thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Stripe JS killing SEOIdeally I would like to disable both these scripts on all our product pages which do not use the Stripe payment button. I have tested disabling these scripts on the product pages and there seems to be no issue:
/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/assets/js/stripe.min.js
