Thank you. What is your version number for the plugin and WooCommerce, is the plugin free or Premium, and how are these orders created (checkout, subscription renewal, some other plugin integration, etc.) ?

We have WooCommerce 8.0.2 and free version EU/UK VAT Compliance for WooCommerce (v 1.28), we use themes “konte”.

    We use this plugins https://ibb.co/9Gs4cZv

How are the affected orders created? i.e. What is the process in creating them?

It’s a standard process, the customer adds a product to the cart, proceeds to the checkout screen, and finalizes the order.

Thank you. Is this something that happens occasionally but not always, or something that you can reproduce in testing?

I am guessing that Poland is the store base country?

In your WooCommerce tax settings, how are you calculating taxes (i.e. the “tax based on” setting)?

It happens sometimes, I’m unable to reproduce it while entering the address information during the order.

    Yes

Calculate tax based on Customer billing address

What’s the shipping method used on the order? Is it a “local pickup” method?

    We use DHL Express Worldwide

Thank you. All these questions are because I am forensically going through the code to try to understand the possibilities. Next question: do you know if the customer was logged in when he placed his order?

When I visit https://shop.dailyartmagazine.com/ and put something in my cart and go to the checkout, I don’t see the plugin on the checkout page. Did you deactivate it?

    Thread Starter rask44

    (@rask44)

Hi, The users were not logged in. Which plugin don’t you see? I haven’t turned anything off.

I saw that there was a “VAT Number” field, but it didn’t seem to come from our plugin (and the JavaScript that goes with that field isn’t there). So perhaps that’s because you use something else to handle the “VAT Number” field? Can you explain your setup further?

Of course, the free version of our plugin doesn’t provide that field, so I guess that’s why you do it that way?

I am asking because possibly the code of whatever is handling your “VAT Number” field is getting involved.

Thanks for the response. The ‘VAT Number’ field is generated by the WooCommerce Invoices plugin -> https://www.wpdesk.pl/sklep/fakturownia-woocommerce/.
