Thanks for the explanation. That is what I was doing. I was thinking the insert shortcode button would automatically also insert the closing [/sc] for me and I would just have to add the text between the open and close code.

Now that I know I have to manually add the text AND the closing [/sc] I will do that.

I created a shortcode with the content…
<div class=”callout”>$$enclosed_content$$</div>

When I use the WP editor and insert the shortcode it outputs…
[sc name=”Text Callout” ]

Notice there is no [/sc] output.

Am I doing something incorrectly?

Anyone have any luck setting up CNAMEs with Rackspace Cloud Files?

I’m getting the error upon activation…
Fatal error: Call to a member function load() on a non-object in /nfs/c12/h12/mnt/12345/domains/dev.thedomain.com/html/wp-content/db.php on line 839

Both the front end and back end error this way. Only way to fix is to remove the db.php file from wp-content manually.

This is on WP 2.8.4 using DB Cache Reloaded 1.1 on a MediaTemple gs site.

After monitoring for a few days, it looks that with SuperCache in half-on the CPU usage only went down maybe 15-20%.

MediaTemple’s support suggestion was to replace WP SuperCache with a DB Cache Plugin (https://wordpress.net.ua/db-cache)

I did double check the htaccess rules on the site (actually on a couple MediaTemple sites) and they are correct.

Donncha, Isn’t there still quite a bit of CPU usage when just using “Half ON”?

I would really like to figure out why “Full ON” will not work on MediaTemple. They have been sending CPU overage notices and I believe the “Full ON” mode would greatly reduce CPU usage.

I have opened a support ticket on MediaTemple and await their thoughts on this.

I have compression off on my site and it always is re-rendered each time, no matter which browser I use.

A guess a plug-in hunt is imminent. Thanks
