In reply to: Where is this #444 gray coming from?Yea, that was it. I wasn’t even thinking of looking in the footer.php file. Got rid of that line of code that brought it up and it fixed it. Thanks.

In reply to: Where is this #444 gray coming from?Turns out, it’s not the background. I just edited out the background reference in my CSS using the Web Developer Toolbar for Firefox and nothing changed. So it’s not the body tag.

In reply to: Blank Page on WP2.7 index.phpI tried renaming index.cfm awhile back to index_old.cfm. That doesn’t affect anything. According to my host, it’s database related and suggested I dump the tables and run a fresh install. Ugh!

In reply to: Where is this #444 gray coming from? That’s funny. It’s supposed to be two colors. Not one. I’ll go in and correct it. Thanks whooami.

In reply to: Blank Page on WP2.7 index.phpWell, the current index.cfm is the old site. I want to keep it there until the new site is ready to go. Then I’ll delete it. As for the Secret Code, good idea. but do you mean the Authentication Unique Keys or something else?

In reply to: Blank Page on WP2.7 index.phpWell, I finally talked to my host and he won’t let me look at the error logs. He said he did and he found no WP-related errors. So he suggested I delete everything and upload it all over again. So I did and once again, got the same blank page.

In reply to: Blank Page on WP2.7 index.phpWell, they’re kind of picky on that. It’s a shared ColdFusion/PHP server so I can upload .cfm and .php files (In fact, I’m upgrading from a CF to a PHP blog) and they don’t seem all too helpful. That’s why I’m asking here.

In reply to: Display only posts from one category on homepageI tried that in a home.php template and it just came up with a Parse Error on line 44. Did I place the content correctly?

In reply to: Can’t import blog due to establishing secure connection with GoogleYou know what? I think you’re right. I’ve had this problem with this host (local one) before. Very frustrating but yea, I set up a blog on WordPress.com and do it that way. That has worked in the past.

In reply to: CSS styling the list in the sidebarCool. I’ll gladly let you know, Joni. This is actually one of the last sticking points. The store (which is using the ZenCart template) is essentially done. And the blog was working until the client decided to bring back the sidebar and then everything got messed up.

In reply to: CSS styling the list in the sidebarOK, so that’s what it means! Well, I followed your advice and added it but now it’s collapsing beneath the #content div and so I’m trying everything to make it work. Setting all sorts of margins and padding to zero, Eliminating the headers from each div, changing the width of the sidebar div to next to nothing. Absolutely nothing works.
