Found problem #2! It was the .linklove class set to its’ original width. Changed it to the width of the sidebar/widget and problem disappeared. Now I just need to solve the float issue.

What I mean is usually when you go to a listing of blogs, you get the title of the post and then either the entire post or a condensed version underneath it. That’s what I want. I want to display the title of the post (which it does now) and then a truncated version of the post itself. Like you normally see in a blog only on a page.

I got it. Strange thing this thematic theme. You can overwrite styles in the style.css file over what is in the default.css file but it’s not perfect. Since I didn’t suggest a display: anything in the style.css file it continued to recommend that display:none even though I did suggest other styles. Very unusual to say the least. I like the idea of how style.css can override other styles but it is far from perfect.

This is weird. There’s no htaccess on the root. So I went to Permalinks, regenerated that and nothing changed. Then I changed from Custom Structure to Numeric and then all the links worked. How can I get it back where I originally had it?

Which files? I uploaded everything from the install.

Yep, that was it. Thanks. Still got to figure out how to lose the white border. But at least this is a good start.

Found the problem. Had to deactivate wp-cache to make super cache work.

My permalink settings are set to day and name. I didn’t use a custom structure.

Scratch it. I just figured out the links needed to be updated. Why don’t they tell you these things in the upgrade process?

OK, there is. It would be https://username.powweb.com/ where ‘username’ would represent the username of the owner of the site. Not the domain name but the username. So how would I properly change the form action in cForms?

Honestly, I don’t know. Client is responsible for that but I can find out. He’s hosted on Powweb.

Ah, that clears it up. Just made the changes to single.php and it’s all good. Thanks.

I reinstalled WordPress and all the plugins are de-activated. General settings say both the Blog as well as the WordPress address is https://www.laadug.org/ which should be correct. After all that, I’m still getting the blank screen.
