Thanks Steve, but the page I want to ;put the blog on is not the homepage. If you go to my site you will see it’s the fourth item on the menu. The site was created with Astra Pro so I don’t seem to be able to add pages through the Appearance menu either.

Thanks for replying but it still isn’t working. I did just what the documenentation instructed : I set the home page template and set it as a static page in settings but the theme is still not showing. You can see what I did if you visit my site. If you like I can post my login details and you can fix it (I can always change them after lol). I’d be grateful for your help

Thanks. I installed a couple of widgets and got it working. Another question, though quite technical: is there any way to link accounts to the icons so that users are not asked to log in to Facebook, Twitter etc every time they click on an icon? Most people like this to be done automatically.
