While the question was a duplicate, the removal of the commercial aspect in the new question should have made this a non-issue.

I marked this thread as RESOLVED this morning. Saw and agreed the commercial post was an issue. Opened a new thread without the commercial link and that thread was closed by a mod acting without fully having all the facts. Would asking be a difficult task? Now how do I respond to that closed thread? See what has happened here… Now I’ve changed it to NOT RESOLVED and wonder what to do next.

Very odd, five minutes ago the images on the website were made correct. It’s taken 16 hours to go through the system? Must be a server thing.

In any case, the page size is 50% less than before and speed is 33% less as well. A win I’d say.

No Photon or CDN in use. Here is the list of plugins being used on this site. It is a non-profit, not my choices for plugins, I’m the one asked to optimise images.

Getting the images to appear on the website seems to be the roadblock.

In the Media Library, the images have been Smushed. Here is a screencap:

Clicking on any image in the Library, the images have been reduced greatly. A typical example:

Thanks David, you solved the issue. I will be buying an upper tier package on the weekend as it is that good and I need a dozen more websites migrated over the next few weeks.
