In reply to: [WooCommerce] /product-category/ Appearing in Product LinkThank you very much Emily. I sound like I’m on top of the 301’s but I have a bit of work to do yet!
I see that product-category is given as the product category base, to make perfectly sure I understand, if I remove this will the product-category permalink dissapear from all links? Or would it be substituted for some other default?
Thanks again for the quick reply,
Darran.

In reply to: Huge number of Google 404’s after migrate from Magento to WordPressOne other thing I would like to ask, is there a way to fix the /product-category/ permalink? My understanding is that it should be filled in by the product category itself and not show up like that. But again, I’m afraid that by changing that I might make a thousand more 404s. Maybe I ought to leave it be.
Eg.

Probably ought to be:

In reply to: Huge number of Google 404’s after migrate from Magento to WordPressThank you for the reply. I began to search yesterday for 301 plugins and started to redirect some. If it’s a case of redirecting them then that would be more of a relief, as I thought that there might have been something more seriously wrong.
Would you know of a way to do this in a broad sweep, by bulk or any other way? As I marked all “as fixed” yesterday to start with a clean plate on Google search console and I have exactly 1000 listed this morning.
I suppose maybe I should just get clicking.
