You’re welcome, Jeff! Glad to hear things are back to normal.

Hi there,
So, you’re wanting a user’s comment box on your site to reflect their own personal color scheme settings? Unfortunately, not – the individual user would have to choose a dark or light color scheme option on their end.
For more information on adjusting color schemes for the comment box, please visit:
https://jetpack.com/support/comments/
Thanks,
Hi there,
This happens when people already tried to subscribe to other Jetpack sites but never confirmed their subscriptions via email. After so many unconfirmed subscriptions, they receive that notification. Could you ask them to either confirm the subscriptions of other sites they followed through their email or go to this page and validate or delete all pending subscriptions there?

Thanks!
Hi there,
That error indicates that there may have been some files missing made your Jetpack installation. It may have been an old version of Jetpack.
To resolve this issue, you will need to log in to your site via FTP or CPanel, delete the existing Jetpack plugin folder, and reinstall the plugin from scratch.
You’ll find the Jetpack plugin folder here:
/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/If you are unsure on how to do this, I would reach out to your hosting company for assistance. Once you have successfully removed the plugin entirely, try a fresh install:

Please let me know if you have any questions and if this works for you.
Thanks,
Hi there,
There may potentially be a conflict between Jetpack and another one of your plugins. However, before we look into plugin conflicts, I’ve seen that fully uninstalling and reinstalling Jetpack has resolved this particular error in the past. If you haven’t already, can you attempt a fresh Jetpack install following the instructions on our support page?:
https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/
Please let me know if this works for you.
Thanks!
Thanks! Definitely keep us updated and we’ll look into things further if there is no change.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack emailHi there,
What I would do is have a password reset link sent to the email that is already connected to the WordPress.com account. If you have access to the email, a link would be sent for you to change the password of the connected WordPress.com account. That will get you the information about the account.
Here is the password reset link:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
And here is more information on the process:
https://wordpress.com/support/passwords/#lost-password
Please try that and let me know if you have any success.
Thanks!
Hi there,
What is the URL of your site – in particular, what theme are you using? I would reach out to the theme developer regarding this error, as it is something they will probably need to address on their end. It will most likely be out of the scope of support.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack emailHi there,
If you are receiving a message that the email you are trying to change it to is already being used, that means it is currently connected to another WordPress.com account. You can only use your email with one WordPress.com account at a time.

Do you happen to know of another WordPress.com account that the email could be connected to?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] 8.9 upgrade errorHi there,
Yes, I have seen this a few times the last day or so.
I would go ahead and disconnect and reconnecting Jetpack to your site. That usually resolves the issue:

Please try using the instructions above and let me know if you have any success.
Thanks!
Hi there,
Yes, I debugged your site and received a communication error, so there is definitely something up:
https://tools.jetpack.com/debug/?url=https://internetbrothers.org
The debug is showing an XML-RPC communication
error code -32700
I want to see if you can try a few things:
- Deactivate temporarily all your plugins and check if the problem gets fixes that way. If it works, then reactivate each plugin one-by-one to find out which one is causing problems.
- Check for any security product or firewall enabled that may block the communication. If when they’re disabled Jetpack connects, we have pinpointed the source of the issue.
- If that does not work, can you reach out to your host see if they’re blocking or otherwise limiting incoming and outgoing connections over XML-RPC? Jetpack, the WordPress mobile apps, and some other plugins and services use this file to communicate with your site, but some hosts block connection requests to that file.
- If they aren’t blocking the file, then you can ask that they also check on memory allocations. If all of your memory is being used up, then the host may start blocking/limiting resources.
- Also, please have your host whitelist the Jetpack and WordPress.com IP ranges, which you can find on this page: https://jetpack.com/support/hosting-faq/
Let us know what you find out. Thanks!
Hi there,
So, you want to use Jetpack as a way backup media with S3? If so, no, there isn’t any way we could back that up unless you were mirroring that on your webserver. However, you may want to consider using Site Accelerator which is included in Jetpack as that works both as a CDN as well as image optimization.
https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
