By the way, I’ve noticed (on this forum and others) that there are MANY people experiencing the very same problem with the very same error messages.

Do they all suffer from the same server misconfiguration?!

I can confirm to you that my explorer settings allow for hidden files to be shown.

But what I meant is that I do not have a .htaccess file in /wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager on my server (using ftp Filezilla to list the files).

What I do have however is a htaccess.txt file in that sub-directory. Am I supposed to move that file?

BTW, I already have a .htaccess file in /wp-content/backup-db…

As you suggested, I disabled all the plugins, but I am still getting the error message.

At least, we now know it’s not plugin-related! Is this just a coincidence this started just after I upgraded to version 2.9?

Just downloaded it (and installed it). It’s brilliant, does a perfect sitemap and is very easy to configure. A must!

The point is that you change that width (which I did), everything overlaps on the sidebar.

As I have now read in this forum, it’s hellishly difficult to customize WP’s default theme. I thus downloaded a more user-friendly theme (with a larger viewing central area) which I managed to customize without problems.

Actually, I am talking about version 2.7 of the 1024px theme. This has already been released and I was wondering what the changes were compared with the 2.6 version that I am currently using
