Sorry, I know you are trying to help but I stink at all this so I’ll just have to settle for centered ad text. I was just hoping someone could point out something in my theme settings. Thanks so much anyway. Darlene

Nope. Just akismet and jetpack.

I have no idea where I would put that code. When I stick it in the widget box it just shows up as text on my blog.

I was just hoping there was something in the sidebar settings that would allow me to choose how the sidebar is aligned.

Maybe I should use the term aligned! I want it aligned left, not centered. I’m 52 and in my day we called that flush.

See how everything we are typing lines up on evenly on the left? The google ads on my blog are not, they are centered.

I’m talking about the page we are on right now. Just look over to the right. The sidebar is flush left, not centered, like this…

It means not centered but it lines up on the left. If you look at the right sidebar on this page under “About this Topic” you will see that it lines up flush on the left.

The fix was actually easy. It was finding the correct answer that was very, very hard.

All I had to do was go in the forms advanced settings in wordpress and change the email send method to PHP. It was set at wordpress wp_email. I guess when I updated the theme, that somehow got changed.

All fixed now.

I think I somewhat have it figured out. I have an icon now and it works. At first it was gigantic, but I’m working on it. Thank you for your help.

I’m trying to do this, but I’m lost. I only want facebook and email icon, maybe twitter too. Where do I get those? And I can’t find my themes/images folder. I’m using Basically theme. I think this is going to be too much for me! lol or boo hoo hoo is more like it.

OMG… I thought it would just be something easy. I wanted to click on something and make it happen! LOL I will try to figure that out tomorrow. I appreciate your help! I’m determined to learn.

I guess maybe I am. I just know on other blogs I follow they have the big icons on their site that take you to their facebook page. Like on this blog… see how she has the icons in her header? How do I do that?
