In reply to: WordPress URL in source code shows as IP not domainAfter getting in contact with them and resolving the problem, something else has cropped up.
It seems as though my site is being treated as two according to whether or not I add a www. or not to the start of the domain.
The preferred version is with the www. – how would I get WordPress to treat them both the same?
Thanks

In reply to: WordPress URL in source code shows as IP not domainHey,
Domain is with GoDaddy – the nameservers are pointing to DigitalOcean.
Therefore, I do not have access to the DNS settings anymore.
Any ideas?
Thanks

In reply to: WordPress URL in source code shows as IP not domainYeah they are editable and contain the IP address which you see in the source code.
I had the same installation prior to this one, I went into settings > general and change both fields from IP to the domain.
I then went to /wp-admin on the domain and it would do a redirect loop.
This tells me that only one of the addresses in the URL field should be changed, which one should it be?
Thanks

In reply to: WordPress URL in source code shows as IP not domainHey James,
Thanks for your reply. I see what you mean, the domain is definitely working.
I go to the site through the domain, but when I look in the source code I see the IP not the domain. I thought this was linked to the 2 URL types in the general settings?
Everything is set up perfectly, it’s just that the hosting/wordpress doesn’t acknowledge the domain, if that makes sense?
Thanks,
