In reply to: wp_admin gives white pageI can’t deactivate them from the admin because I can not get into the admin. I did however, rename the plugin folder as was suggested in previous posts, but it didn’t allow me access in.

Just an FYI. That is the way I have installed my themes from day one of using wordpress. In fact it is an instructional method. Could be a connection issue on your part m8. You have a time out issue happening and perhaps a corrupt dl ….
Try searching for the theme through the search function that is in your dash and see if you can get it installed that way.

You will find two tabs, MANAGE and INSTALL. CLick the install tab. Under the two tabs you will see an “upload” link. From here, upload the zip file. You should then see the theme ready to be activated.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: I activated a new theme, but…I have found it is easier to test a theme that I like on a test site or offline before activating it. In this case, as new as you are, I would try reverting to your 2011 theme for a little while, test the theme out and do the work, then make it work.

I replaced the functions.php with a new one. Tried to enter the admin area and got this one:

CHanged the Gamepro to gamepro1, and it let me into admin. I reactivated the theme and it read it as gamepro1. I now get a header error from within the gamepro theme folder.
Looking more into it. I tried to reproduce the error but you know how that goes. It didn’t want to come back out.
It sucks, I like this theme but it seems there may be some issues.
EDIT: Actually, I was looking at the errors above, that’s the error but the lines changed.

—-EDIT: Renamed the GAMEPRO theme to GAMEPRO1, went back to the site and it was also a blank page. Twenty Ten didn’t come up.
