The Author of the Theme is no longer around and iis not PHP 7 compatible the whole thing is unstable and there is ZERO support.

you would probably be better off Using DIVI

on a note do you use a cache plugin or cache?

please disable the user cache so UM can operate normally.

also please exclude the following UM pages

/user
/register
/login
/account
/members
/logout
/password-reset

WP just updated to 5.2 please update all WP free themes 2016-19. and Wp 5.2

also run a conflict test to make sure other plugins are not causing this issue or your theme.

i suggest excluding all Ultimate member pages from caching e.g:

/user
/register
/login
/account
/members
/logout
/password-reset

also i would recommend you turn off the user cache if you want UM to work correctly.

Please run a conflict testt , there might be a plugin that is also causing this to happen.

if your using Learn press for WP under pricing make sure the checkbox entitled “no requirement to enroll” is checked.

also under the WP Page tab there is an option under “edit this page” for UM content restriction. change to “Logged out Users only”

you really need to update to the latest 2.0 version of Ultimate member for security reasons.

Also i would Advise to hire a PHP WP Developer who is familiar with UM 1.0 and 2.0 coding and can upgrade to make everything work correctly.

right is there anyway you can screenshot or put on video the redirect or lack of redirect? so we can get an idea where to look for said problem.

Ultimate Member has it’s own Recaptcha Extension currently free to use. look for it under Extension tab of UM then scroll down to Recaptcha and download from site. install and activate and setup how you want recaptcha
