In reply to: 404 Errors after permalink change…Hey Friend,
I must be leaving something out. I deleted the pic and then reloaded it into the post article with a different title from my post title (now the pic is titled: New Laptop) but the alternative text I have left same as before “Microsoft Security Essentials” for SEO purposes.
Also, I anchor texted the caption as Pic by afroswede. The a href is: Microsoft Security Essentials. This all for on-page SEO.

In reply to: 404 Errors after permalink change…you have to delete the file then resave the post then reload your photo.
the slugs dont drop off easilyBy file, you do mean the photo file right and not the post file right?
I have to re-save the post? By this do you mean update the post?
Thanks,

You are a Jewel! Thank you. I will implement your suggestion.
Experience yields knowledge where inexperience falls short. I will chalk this one up to “Experience”.
Thanks again!

In reply to: Admin Menu bar missing "Delete Cache" Option/command…Amy,
You were right…it is due to a plugin. After reading a bit inside the forum, I found someone with the same exact issue who found the fix.
The latest WordPress loads with WP Super Cache by default. This is the plugin causing the “Delete Cache” button to disappear from the Admin Menu Bar.
I simply went to: WP Super Cache > Advanced > put a tick inside “Don’t cache pages for known users” box. That was all it was.
Resolved.
Thanks,

In reply to: Admin Menu bar missing "Delete Cache" Option/command…Hi Amy,
thanks for he shout back. Originally, I thought the very same thing and went to look for a plugin re this issue but both sites have identical plugins with identical settings. Therefore, I think it is something else.
Any other ideas?
Thanks again,
