I wanted to let you know (and anyone else who may be reading) that I’m fairly certain I found the problem.

The shell access password for this domain account on the server was a simple word whereas all my other accounts have proper passwords. I must have done that to save time while setting it up in web host manager and forgotten to change it to something for difficult.

Any hacker could have easily guess it and logged in using SSH.

I’ve changed it and we’ll see what happens!

Hmm no I haven’t. I’ll try that.

I have a dedicated host just for me with heavy security. None of my other sites are hacked only this one. Perhaps it’s the style I’m using.

Thanks Steve but I’ve read that guide multiple times. It contains very little useful information I’m afraid.

As I said my WP has a single login and all access is restricted. If you have more insight I would really appreciate it.

It was my theme not putting the <title> tag around my titles! Fixed it.

Thanks for the reply. For sharing I just paste the link into my facebook post. If I diable the plugin, FB just grabs the url to my site and uses that as a title for some reason. The captioned text is grabbed properly.

Never mind, found it! WordPress settings (left side) > Simple Instagram embed > check include caption.

I need this too! But where? The plugin doesn’t have a settings page!

Found solution:

On the “Translations” options, in the admin page of the plugin, in “Advanced Settings”, there are 4 options shown as selection boxes. Select the last one, that states “Use strftime (…) and replace formats (…)”. That should solve the qTranslate display issue.

Except I had to select “Use emulated date function.” Fixed.

I have a similar problem. All my post dates are just appearing as the current time instead of the time they were published. I don’t have a fix yet.

Found the problem. It was the qTranslate plugin. I’ll have to ascertain why and see if there is a fix but at least I know which plugin in the culprit.

hmm ok I checked the admincp and the post times are correct there. It must be a plugin that is interfering. I’ll check it out tongiht.
