I did exactly what you suggested but sadly it did not work.

I am still getting the blank page when trying to add icons to a menu.

Do you know if the theme/plugin authors are aware and addressing this problem?

I am using Elementor Pro as well, when I add an icon to a page using their widget it works fine but sadly I cannot add icons into their nav widget to create an icon menu.

Do you have any further suggestions to resolve the issue?

I have the same issue, the icons are just showing a blank page when i try to select an icon.
How do I implement the above fix? There are no real instructions for doing so!
I just tried to deactivate the ocean Extra plugin but it will not let me, I thought about turning it off through FTP but would hate to break the site. Also it would seem a back up would simply include the issue to be sorted out after using any such back up if it all went wrong.
Please advise my best course of action.
