In reply to: Still Having Category ProblemsNo, it doesn’t, and when I’m on the actual edit page for the post, it doesn’t show it as being categorized. The archives page still shows everything and categorizes it correctly, though.

In reply to: Still Having Category ProblemsNo, I didn’t change anything pertaining to the categories. I imported my tags from UTW into WP, but I can’t think of anything other than that.
My post-upgrade posts are working fine, it’s just the older ones that are giving me problems.

In reply to: Role Manager Screwed Up My Blog!Update: I uploaded one of my old DB backups, but nothing was fixed. Then, I re-uploaded all of the WP files and it’s still broken. All stylesheets are missing, and I’m getting 403’s and 500’s everywhere. If I refresh several times, pages will load for me, so the admin area is still accessible. I deactivated all plugins and nothing is working.
Is this a WP problem, or have I screwed something up internally (as in on the server)?

In reply to: Trying to go live, please help!!Put a file named index.php in your root dir that contains:
<?php /* Short and sweet */ define('WP_USE_THEMES', true); require('wordpress/wp-blog-header.php'); ?>
And go into Options in your admin. area and put https://myparentalinsanity.com into the blog address field.
hope this helps! ??

In reply to: Permalinks Suddenly BrokenI submitted a support ticket, but I really think that the problem is with WP. The server is still recognizing my .htaccess 404 redirect pages.
Could somebody post what SHOULD be in .htaccess, so I can make sure that there’s not a syntax error or something?

In reply to: Permalinks Suddenly BrokenYep, I’ve tried both of those. I re-chmodded the files, and nothing happened. I then deleted and re-uploaded them, but WP isn’t recognizing them.
I don’t think k2 has anything to do with it…I haven’t updated the theme since January and the permalinks have only been broken since Saturday.

In reply to: Inserting an URL in 2.1 Ella does not work (WYSIWYG)I’ve had the same problem, but with the insert image dialogue.
I posted a thread about this earlier but it hasn’t seemed to have received any replies.

In reply to: Major Problem With Blog…If I were you, I would try viewing it in Safari again, but clear the cache this time.
I just tried looking at it, and it displayed as it did in Firefox. The third column took longer to load than the others, but it did load after about ten seconds.

In reply to: Disappearing ShockWave codeAlternatively, you can click on the “HTML” button in your WYSIWYG bar and insert the code into there.

In reply to: Figured out how to change all link colors except…Depending on what theme you use, try looking for h2/h3 links in your stylesheet.
