Basically just want to use it to enhance some SEO – thank you
Sorry, I meant to clarify change Post to Cartoons
Please go to bottom of this page and note the post titled “New Web Site” (small image gallery at bottom)and there is a date of January 10, 2014. That was actually a new post I made this past weekend which should have placed it at the top of that page. How do I get new blog posts to appear at the very top of my blog’s page? By “here”, I am referring to my blog page where my posts are archived….

In SETTINGS>GENERAL>then scrolling down, I see DATE FORMAT. Is that what you refer to? I mean for showing the date of each blog post? I ask this, because right now, the date of March 10, 2014 is ticked but the problem arises when I make a blog post. That will appear at the very bottom of my page and not at the top like it should – and the date always reads January 10th.
Or, do I go to another settings area? if so, where?Forum: Fixing WordPress

It is working and has been fixed. I appreciate your insight. One question I have though, is when I make a new blog post that is intended for my blog page here, why does the newest post go directly to the very bottom of the page? I.e., a post I made on March 9, is actually dated at the very bottom as submitted on January 10th. Not sure why that is happening. Video pertains to the dog sitting by his bowl you will notice. Btw, I have tried to avoid over use of Plugins, only have 3 actually running…Yoast, Jetpack and another one…..

In reply to: Blog post has screwed up my web siteHello ViaMultimedia…in my SETTINGS>READING it shows at top “Front Page Displays” with those two selections that read: Your Latest Posts and the one below it as A Static Page (select below) and “Your Latest Posts” is the one that is selected. Could that be my problem? The front page looked good with other information on it and as soon as I made a “post”, then the front page screwed up.

In reply to: Showing the "Leave a Reply" – 'Comments' box on blog pagesHello Jesin: Go to my blog page and note the “Leave a Reply” comments box now is visible. Prior to doing any of the steps you instruct here, I ask that you see the tag cloud at bottom left (below widgets tec.) and click any one of them….then click any header link you see appearing above any image. It opens to a page showing a gallery and at the bottom of those pages (and there are dozens, actually hundreds)….will those “Leave a Reply” comment boxes also be deleted by implementing your steps mentioned here so only the “Leave a Reply” comments box appears on those blog pages or future blog posts that I make?

In reply to: Eliminate specific text from post pages – how?I do have a child theme as I initially mentioned above. I did login to my account using: APPEARANCE>EDITOR>and on right side of page it shows a column and in the column I see ‘Theme Functions (functions.php) as you mention, and I click that and my ‘functions.php’ opens. However I scrolled up and down and see no php starting with the “$utility_text +_” etc. Am I in wrong one maybe? THANKS! (I am NOT intimidated!lol)
Thanks Jeremy: I will need to get the login details from my IT designer….I assume FileZilla is a good program to do this with?
