In reply to: My social sharing icons are not working – how to fix?Steve:
I just noticed when I tried pasting the exact code which appears in my “header.php” that it comes out looking different in this forum. I also see this forum has it’s limitiations in that I cannot attach a screenshot of that same code via what it looks like in my “header.php” settings…..I have the URL’s for noth FB & Twitter in that code. I wish I could show a visual. Curious if you can recommend another forum relating to wp I could approach and ask this question on, so users could get a good insight into what my settings are. Thanks for trying

In reply to: Breadcrumb NavXT question about naming Post TemplateHere is code wrapped:
<span property="itemListElement" typeof="ListItem"><span property="name">Page %htitle%</span><meta property="position" content="%position%"></span>
Or, let me ask this…will my site break, if adding that above code into my “functions.php”? If it doesn’t help, I could delete it
Is there a current way to verify which theme I use in WordPress? This might sound like an obviously ignorant question….I do have WooCommerce theme on my site but……..
Hi Mike: Unfortunately I have no other sites that I’ve launched which are running other themes, so I cannot test it. I am a bit gobsmacked as to how wordpress has set this limitation against it’s users. Especially if I have one of the most updated versions, not to mention they promote WooCommerce as one of thee top e-commerce platforms, yet we as users have no way of getting our respective descriptions to appear on each page. I have tried searching tutorials and see “custom fields” available as to where users were able to create those for specific categories but it seems as wp updates itself, it has phased out this functionality. I will keep searching. Thanks alot!
Thanks Tara….I will

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can I Create Custom Fields For WooCommerce Category Pages? This is my conundrum….I have done this with all those pages in that screen but at very bottom of that editor is a “The description is not prominent by default; however, some themes may show it” and wonder why my information is not visible? Seems WordPress does have it’s limitations, correct?
John:
In POST TYPES tab, I unchecked “Show the hierarchy (specificed below) etc.” and if you click a couple pages within my site, you can see the link “Products” still appears. Am I dong something wrong? Feedback when you can. Thank you!
Best,
Dan
PS: I made a screenshot & realized I cannot attach here.

Just getting a chance to respond to your feedback here. Know that I had my “Post Notify me of follow-up posts via email” box below, ticked, in order to see any replies and I received ZERO notifications….thus my reason for simultaneously posting or asking for help (did not realize I was getting responses from you)….sorry about that. It wasn’t that I was ignoring, so just know I appreciate your insights. Now I will look at your suggestions, try them and then respond back here with any potential questions. Thanks greatly!
Best,
DanPhenomenal! I appreciate your response duracelltomi…..MUCH appreciated. Oh yes, I do have GTM code in my “header.php” since I did make certain so as not to break the site…..initially, a tutorial I read, said to add it after:
“<body <?php body_class( $class ); ?>>” and I have my Google analytics code pasted into my “footer.php” so right now everything is separate from one another. Initially what I was hoping to do is implement a data layer with the appropriate message and add the appropriate tags and fire them on the URL that I set up according to what is in that video.
However, if I can achieve the same with your plugin, I will definitely do so and download and install your plugin if it will enrich my search results. My question is do I need to delete the GTM code in my header and the analytics code in my footer? Where do I begin or what is best way to initiate this? Thank you!
