I’ve tried all steps. What seemed to work was installing a MySQL connector that I found in the Web Platform Installer.
This is the page I get when I click the “Admin Login” button that’s supposed to take me to the site I just duplicated. But it’s acting like a fresh install.
So the original site has a bunch of plugins all active. I duplicate the site as is. I then extracted and installed the site onto a test server that we have with no problems, all plugins were shown and after extraction I was able to navigate to the site.
However, when I do the same thing with the same files on a production server that we have, no plugins show up under active. I figure ok no problem I’ll just re-activate them when I get in but after installation finishes and I try to navigate to the site I’m shown the WordPress install page where I select language as if my site doesn’t exist. I’m totally stumped on what’s happening here. I’ve duplicated many times on the test site throughout the months with no problems, it’s straightforward. But when I try on another server, the first issue is that no plugins show up under the active window during the duplicator install wizard and then the next very strange things is that navigating to the final step using the “admin login” button takes me to the WordPress install page where I select language and site name and all that, not to my actual sites admin login like it does on the test server.
Sorry I missed the part about SQL version fallback.
Thanks. That makes sense. My issue was resolved by resaving the permalink setting which was already correct but I guess needed to be resaved to work again. Now all the content is viewable.
