    Hi,

thank you for reaching out to us.

Can you please shown us an URL where the issue is clearly reproducible?

Would you mind explaining the way you create the contact form? are you using common third party tools (like hubspot for example) or something that may be blocked by the CMP because it is a tool that require it?

Can you also show us a video of the issue and specific steps to reproduce it?

I would recommend to test if the problem persists with Complianz as the sole activated plugin & with a default WordPress theme.?
If this works, re-enable plugins & theme one by one and keep testing until it stops working again, at which point you’ll know exactly which one was the culprit.?

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

thank you for reaching out to us.

We have tested it locally and we see that the behaviour is the one expected: https://prnt.sc/uwhxnZ1FACZV

This is how we set up Complianz for injecting the Hotjar script https://prnt.sc/N0zVx_TosgH5

So, regarding your case: unfortunately we can’t reproduce the issue.

Can you please share with us the URL where you are installing our plugin so that we can see the hotjar script and the complianz configuration?

    Two hints for you:

    • if you were using the free version of the plugin and you installed the premium plugin, please delete the free version, since two different configurations can create a similar issue; But in this case if you use PRO version please reach us through the ticketing system;
    • please check under integrations -> plugins or in general the integration section and disable any possible duplicate configuration for Hotjar;
    • Usually if this happens it’s because of some other plugin/theme on the site, which results in a conflict. I would recommend to test if the problem persists with Complianz as the sole activated plugin & with a default WordPress theme.?If this works, re-enable plugins & theme one by one and keep testing until the wrong behaviour is reproducible again, at which point you’ll know exactly which one was the culprit.?

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

since you are using the TCF can be normal that adsense is not blocked, since the ads will read the tcf signal and shows the non personalized ads accordingly.

Furthermore if you are using a second CMP in the same time, this can lead to other unexpected behaviours that are not under our control.

For this reason, as a free support service on the WordPress forum, we have certain limitations that prevent us from offering advanced troubleshooting assistance. We understand the frustration this may cause, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Our primary goal is to provide the best possible support within the scope of our capabilities.

Given the complexity of the issue and the need for further investigation in a controlled environment, we recommend seeking assistance from a specialized WordPress professional or developer. These experts possess the necessary expertise and resources to diagnose and resolve intricate technical difficulties like the one you are facing.

We understand the importance of resolving your issue promptly, and we genuinely regret that we are unable to provide a direct resolution through our free support channels.

However, connecting with a WordPress specialist will ensure that your issue is addressed with the utmost care and expertise, minimizing any potential risks or complications.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. Should you have any further questions or require any additional guidance, please don’t hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way we can.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Hi,

unfortunately we can’t help with the info provided and the complianz plugin is not installed on your site.

Please note that if you are using a custom gmaps solution you may want to follow the guides:

    https://complianz.io/debugging-google-maps/

    https://complianz.io/custom-google-maps-implementation/

In general we invite you to read the following guidelines: **PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST AN ISSUE** and if you can’t solve please provide:

    • url of the website where we can reproduce the issue
    • possibly a video with the issue
    • clear description and steps to reproduce the issue

If you want to share images or video please only use public websites like for example Loom or lightshot.

    Thank you for your cooperation

Thank you for reaching out and bringing this matter to our attention.

I understand your concern about Google Maps being blocked by our plugin. This behavior is actually by design and is necessary to comply with legal requirements concerning user consent for cookies. Specifically, Google Maps is automatically blocked if the user rejects cookies, ensuring that you remain compliant with relevant privacy laws.

However, I do have a solution that might work for you. You can add the attribute data-cmp-ab="2" to the Google Maps scripts. This will ensure that Google Maps is whitelisted and not subjected to the autoblocking feature. Alternatively, you can disable the automatic blocking feature entirely from your iubenda dashboard.

You can also check this guide: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/153445-what-to-do-when-the-automatic-blocking-mode-is-blocking-too-much

I hope this helps clarify the situation. If you have any further questions or need assistance with implementing these changes, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Hi,

unfortunately the #1 solution is not recommended as stated in our guide and we provide only a limited support on this scenario.

Regarding allowing or not the Adsense script, you may want to use the “whitelist” section under the Integration -> Script Center section or disable the integration with the plugin/adsense service under the Integration -> plugins or integration -> services section.

You may also want to disable the following: https://prnt.sc/YSsPzn9ee67V

Thank you for your detailed feedback and for sharing the solution you have implemented for tracking phone call conversions using Google Ads and Google Tag Manager. We are delighted to hear that you found a method that works for your needs.

While we are pleased that our resources have been helpful, we would like to clarify that our primary role is not to serve as a Google Tag Manager advisor. For specific, in-depth assistance with Google Tag Manager, we recommend reaching out directly to Google Support or consulting with a certified Google Tag Manager specialist.

For your convenience and further assistance, we do offer a comprehensive guide on setting up Google Tag Manager in conjunction with Complianz, which you can find here: Definitive Guide to Tag Manager and Complianz.

We hope this guide provides you with additional insights and helps streamline your setup process. Should you have any further questions or need additional support regarding Complianz, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you once again for your feedback, and we wish you continued success in your endeavors.

    Hi,

it seems you are using our banner + another one and this could lead to unexpected behaviours: please delete the second CMP from your website so that you can avoid conflicts.

Please also note that there is a cache and configuration plugin enabled on your site, so please try to disable it (for example autoptimize and other cache plugins) and try to configure Complianz again.

    Hope this helps!

If you are a premium user, we kindly request that you avail yourself of our support services by sending an email to [email protected].

If you are a free plan user, you can still show us the issue you mentioned.

    Hi,

we have tried to follow the steps of the guide locally, and everything is working as expected.

For example, by opening the Gutenber editor, in the right sidebar you can find these options https://prnt.sc/HacRq14Rm3QQ

Upon selecting Edit Document and stop syncronization, the text of the policy becomes editable even if the block seems enabled.

    Example here: https://prnt.sc/QYTYIYviVm90

Since the issue is not reproducible on our end we would recommend to test if the problem persists with Complianz as the sole activated plugin & with a default WordPress theme.?
If this works, re-enable plugins & theme one by one and keep testing until it stops working again, at which point you’ll know exactly which one was the culprit.?

    Hope this helps.
